Our Tom
I'll tell you a little story about that: Tom was a little problem child, because at the age of 13 weeks he was only as big as a 6-week-old kitten. Even the vet couldn't tell us the reason for this slow development. Tom just didn't want to gain weight 'normally'. He didn't exactly make it easier for us by not eating food or drinking water. So we took him on our vacation to Spain where he fell in love and got to know the siesta culture. He enjoyed the attention that was only given to him to the fullest and let us pamper him. There, he finally started to eat dry food. He took a bit of wet food. He just didn't go to the water yet, which is why we gave it to him with a syringe. Back home he plays with the other cats and is regularly weighed by us. He's gaining weight slowly, but that's better than nothing. And since we got home the little one has started to 'snorkel', but he only does it when he wants attention. He's also a lap cat who seeks a place on his feet whenever possible. Meanwhile he got the nickname 'Tomzilla'. Well, what else can we say, Tom is just a wonderful, small, loving cat that you can only love. And we will certainly never give it away...
